This is the final volume of Doctor Who Magazine's run of Eighth Doctor stories featuring the Paul McGann incarnation of everyone's favourite Time Lord and it's safe to say that he goes out with a bang!
As with Oblivion, the previous volume, the strips are in colour. It's a very rich colour that's sometimes a little strong but still quite well done and the art, which is by a diverse number of hands including Roger Langridge, Mike Collins, Antony Williams, John Ross and Martin Geraghy is generally high quality that convinces you you are in a real world and not in a world of exaggerated bodies as super hero books generally do.

I walked the Alta Via 1 this summer in late August/early September. Martin Collins' book is an essential item if you intend to do this fantastic high-altitude trek. The profiles are fairly accurate, and the routes are very well described. The only criticism I had with the book is that some of the timings are ambitious to say the least (I am a very fit, a rower at university) and I have severe problems at keeping up with some of the timings, yet some of the timings I could easily beat. Apart from that, the advice is completely sound (except the bus to Lago di Braines does not leave from Villabassa train station). The suggestion about doing the walk in early September is a must, one of the mornings it was snowing a little, yet most days were about ... Read More:
