.Magic Tree House #1-4

My 4 year old boy loves the books, ie he loves the ideas, the knight and pirates so the books are a favourite. However he is not big into the stories themselves. I read so many rave reviews that my expectatione were very high. I guess we both find them not that great as read aloud books.

When Jack and Annie went to the Magic Treehouse, they found this little dog who was under a spell. They read a note from Morgan le Fay, the Librarian. Her note said that they had to get four things to take the dog out of his spell. The first thing was on the ship 'Titanic'. This was a great story about the Titanic from two little kids' viewpoints. It was a really good book.

This is one of the best books I have ever read (and I have all of them!) The coolest part is when Jack and Annie leaped on the horse for a ride to the treehouse where they were safe and sound! I like your books so much that I gave them to my friends as birthday presents, and now they enjoy them too! I hope you keep on writing!

This is a great book to build confidence in developing readers and was an instant hit with my five year old son. Two children Jack and Annie find a magic tree house and are transported back to the days of dinosaurs. It's a simple story with just enough danger to make the adventure exciting, yet the children's exploits are tame enough not to worry a small child.
I have been keeping my eyes out for a series that are the level of the immensely popular Rainbow Fairies yet suitable for boys to help my son make that jump to reading to himself so browsing through the bookshop earlier this week I was thrilled to find these. This is the nineteenth book in a series called the Magic Tree House series. All the books are about two children and a magic tree house which takes them to interesting places. In this book the magic tree house whisks them back to a forest in India. When they arrive they spy two langurs and everything is making racket. Then they climb a tree and a python slithers behind them. They swing from a vine and a tiger barely misses them when they land. Then they find a elephant and it gives them a ride. They stop at a pool and a rhino charges at them and luckily it stops. Then they find a tiger in a trap.

If you want to know what happens next, read the book - it's well worth reading!
