I thought that it could not be bettered. Mate has written a different sort of book - which may even equal Mayes. Only time and subsequent re-readings will tell. .A Reasonable Life: Toward a Simpler, Secure, More Humane Existence by: Ferenc Mate 1994-05 This book is awesome. I agreed with every idea expressed and found all the descriptions of other ways of living wonderful inspirational reading. He points out people living in ways right now that aren't neurotic and false like the Western consumerist culture we've been sold. I agreed with every idea expressed and found all the descriptions of other ways of living wonderful inspirational reading.
