City Travel Guides Discounted Books : ASHA's Mums: By Rosamund Elwin & Michele Paulse; Illustrated by Dawn Lee
.ASHA's Mums: By Rosamund Elwin & Michele Paulse; Illustrated by Dawn Lee

by: Rosamund Elwin, Michele Paulse

1990-12
This book is not helpful for anybody living in the 21st century - especially not for children with two mums. When classmates question Asha over whether it is 'right' to have two mums, the teacher's response is a lukewarm "well...." and nothing more. This book seems to back up homophobic views and is rather outdated.
