and the best guide I've come across for India. Packed with detail and a reasonable cultural/ historical introduction. Maps are great, the timetables are pretty accurate, the opening times and prices are correct...

There are some very bad LP guides out there. Vietnam springs to mind. But LP India has been consistently good throughout the years. I think I've used 4 versions of the guidebook and have been pleased with the improvements everytime.

Obviously the negativities are that it is pretty big but how else are you supposed to cram in all that information.

There are some very bad LP guides out there. Vietnam springs to mind. But LP India has been consistently good throughout the years. I think I've used 4 versions of the guidebook and have been pleased with the improvements everytime.

This is an incredibly useful book for professionals involved in the preparation and negotiation of ISDA documentation. The overview of the Master Agreements is very clear (and helpfully set out) with legal and commercial issues being identified and addressed succinctly but in enough detail to be meaningful. On my desk the book comes into its own in its review of the negotiation of Schedules and, although it cannot cover off all possible counterparties or every issue on complex transactions, it is the best treatment of these documents I have come across. Highly recommended.

I bought this book before I left for my trip to Oz so that I could plan where I should go and what I should see. I found it very helpful for this purpose and enjoyed reading it as I progressed round this huge continent. It certainly gave me plenty of ideas. However, it was not good on the cost of things from a cup of coffee, to entrance fees and hotel accommodation so my budget for the trip was greatly exceeded. It has not been updated since the beginning of 2002 and bearing in mind the number of persons travelling around Australia, I would have thought it should be updated at least annually. Also, it was not good on accommodation options unless you are a backpacker and want hostels. I found the tourist information offices useful for this ... Read More:
