.The Last Weekend by: Paul Walton April 10, 2008 I bought this as it came very highly recommended from a friend. I'm not a big reader but I thought I'd take a look as everyone seemed to be raving about it. I have to agree, it is truly excellent. I tend to lose interest easily in books, but this catches your interest from the very first page and keeps it there. I read the book in less than four days, which, for me, is a real accomplishment! It is extremely well written, laugh out loud comical in places, easy to follow and with a plot which twists and turns unexpectedly, all based around events in life I'm sure that everybody can easily relate to. This heightens the book's appeal. Everybody will know someone they can see in the characters and the simplicity of the gang, without too ...
