This very compact book is great! It tells you how to make your own fresh egg pasta, the way Carluccio cooks his pasta (do you use a cup of cold water after cooking?) and a classification of four types of pasta.
Carluccio gives also his vision on what type of sauce matches with what type of pasta.
The book contains an introduction, a glossary and recipes. The recipes are categorised in four groups: pasta with vegetables, pasta with fish, stuffed pasta and pasta with meat. The recipes come with background information on the ingredients and pictures made by André Martin.
