I'm a big fan of Sally Featherstone and this is one of the best in the series. Very clear, precise, easy to read and not at all patronising. I like this a lot.

This is a wonderful little book. This book gives you simple and clever ideas, which allow you to use circle time in all areas of the early years curriculum. The introduction to the book offers you simple guidelines and advice in relation to setting up and using circle time activities. Each activity offered in the book tells you the resources you may need, key words, early learning goals, what to do, and other idea's. I think this is an excellent little book, which offers many fantastic idea's, which you may wish to use at home or in an educational environment.

This has lots of basic ideas but is more in the form of lots of lists than some of the books in this great series.
Although it has some unusual & inspirational ideas many are common knowledge to all good teachers!

This is a great little book - lots of ideas for active learning that can be used in small groups or whole class which are linked into rhymes and songs. The activities can be adapted easily to suit any age group using resources readily available in the classroom. Very practical!
