. Twilight (Twilight Saga)
by: Stephenie Meyer
September 01, 2006
I thought I'd never say this about any book, but this is as good as Harry Potter! However, only really for the girls.
Twilight is an incredibly intense love story between plain, 17 year old Bella and irresistable vampire, Edward. The writing is very intricate and draws you into their world and emotions in a way I have never experienced with a book before. You will want the story never to end. The intensity of the writing will draw you in and hold you ransom. You will find yourself refusing all your favourite things (for me it was food, TV and sleep) just so you can carry on reading this book. It's a unique reading experience.
Most teenage girls will be able to indentify with Bella, though she is no bimbo air head and not ... Read More:

. New Moon (Twilight Saga)
by: Stephenie Meyer
January 17, 2008
An enjoyable read but follows a very similar pattern to the first book which makes it far too predictable and slightly repetitive. Having said that, I think the relationship between Bella and Jacob was far superior than Edward and Bella - how many people will shoot me down for that? :). I think this is because it's much more natural, the latter's relationship always seemed a bit superficial, what with Bella always being dazed by Edward's beauty. Then again, perhaps Jacob is too good for the likes of Bella. Her constant references to her metaphorical holes did irk me quite a bit. Also, the comparisons to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet were just a tad too corny.

. Eclipse (Twilight Saga)
by: Stephenie Meyer
October 02, 2008
I've finish reading Twilight and New Moon. Eclipse... hmmm... I can't really give a thought of reading without skipping it. Everytime I read the part, where Bella and Jacob is so very passionate and over friendship sort of relationship, this is where I freak out and skip the page or chapter where I can enjoy Edward/Bella moment is.. I am not a type of reader who is into this sort of theme. Bella is not my cup of tea when it comes to love, she is so immature. Why can't she treat Jacob as her brother, just like brotherly love, not a freaking deep love that you felt the same way as your vampire boyfriend... Well I still like some part of the book. It's not my kind of story but it's worth to try reading it.

. The Host
by: Stephenie Meyer
May 01, 2008
That was how the author, Stephenie Meyer, said about The Host. And I can see why.
The Host starts like most SciFi novels. Earth is invaded, and we humans lost. And a new Soul - Wanderer - is implanted into a human body, which will succumbe to her will. But Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. Melanie threws memories, feelings, yearns at Wanderer so soon, both Melanie and Wanderer are in love with one man: a rogue human called Jared. And soon, they set off on a dangerous and uncertain search for the man they both love. But what do they find when they do finally find him - love or hatred?
Stephenie Meyer - a popular author with her Twilight Saga Twilight (Twilight Saga) - has written a human story about love and lose in a dangerous Sci-Fi genre. ... Read More:

. Eclipse (Twilight Saga)
by: Stephenie Meyer
February 01, 2008
First and foremost I have to admit that from about the third chapter of Twilight I was not able to put these books down, they really do have some unseen grip on the reader (and is my reason for giving this 3 stars), as far as enjoyability goes I'd say I liked Eclipse the best, I loved how it delved into the history of the other vampires and of course the werewolves, but it was by far the most predictable(did Meyer really think we wouldn't connect the dots?), and I found myself more than once with a very sudden urge to strangle Bella.
And I definitely find myself agreeing with a lot of what others here have said, her whole thought process within this book is just completely and utterly wacked, if the guy you are insanely in love with and who you cannot live or breathe ... Read More:

. Eclipse (Spanish)
by: Stephenie Meyer
September 30, 2007
This review is 1 star for Amazon's service rather than rating the book which I haven't been able to read. I, too, have been sent a Spanish edition of Eclipse. It was not clear when I placed my order and viewed the book online on 16 May that this was a Spanish version. In fact, my e-mail confirmation and dispatch note make no mention of it being a Spanish version, so I was very surprised when I opened my package when it arrived.
It appears that there was an error on the Amazon system going back about a month, as they weren't showing that this book was a Spanish edition and a number of people have ordered it expecting an English edition.
Amazon's system has since been updated to show Eclipse (Spanish). I have read a number of reviews and it seems that a number of people have had ... Read More:
