.KS3 French: The Study Guide City Travel Guides > Books > Key Stages 1-4 from: Coordination Group Publications Ltd August 20, 2002 I used this book recently with my son, as he as to prepare for his end-of-year exams (Year 7). We only had a list of topics to study. Before we started using this book, we really did not know where to start. The material is simply organized with pictures and a basic vocabluary for each topic. Also on each page there are simple phrases and sentences that uses these words. .GCSE French: Workbook - Higher Pt. 1 & 2 (Workbook) City Travel Guides > Books > Key Stages 1-4 by: Richard Parsons January 30, 2001 Not being particularly strong in French, I searched around for some practice books, and recognising the publisher, I brought this one. I wasn't disapointed. The jokes, as in every other book in their series, are not very amusing, but everything was sorted acording to catorgory, and was layed out very simply. I was pleased to find there was practice in other parts of the language, not just verbs, which seem to feature most often in these kind of books. I thought this book was really, really useful. It doesn't have lots of vocab but covers the basics you need. The grammar is extremely well explained and was easy to follow.
