Helpfully, telephone numbers and fax numbers for Estate houses, boat trips, helicopter trips and gardens etc are printed, and the book describes the facilities available e g whether there is a cafe or disabled access. We booked a hotel recommended and it was fantastic. This book appeals to people who are looking for an active holiday, as well as spending some time on a beach. We tried a couple of the rainforest trails mentioned, and visited lots of waterfalls. It's packed with information about where to go, what to see, why you should go and see certain things, but it's all condensed into a very light book that gives a quick overview of what the island offers. Without this book we would have missed a lot of gems and we would possibly have stuck with the organised tours rather than venturing out on our own.
