This is well writen and give great dadvice and the correct information. Its up to date. It also cover banking, schools and visa's and 'How To" this is the perfect book if you are thinking of moving to Australia.

My partner and I are thinking of moving to Australia so we've been researching everything from the job market to the weather in different areas. I ordered this book after reading two others and, unfortunately, I found that it covered the same areas as the other books but was far less informative. It looks like a children's book, has large text and is double spaced. It's like a pamphlet that a publisher decided to pad out to make a book.

If you are thinking of emigrating to Australia, buy the Red Guide or the fantastic "Living and Working in Australia". Avoid this one, unless you are after a really basic starting point.

I am more than happy to recommend it. It is very informative and although there are plenty of books about living in Spain this tells you everything you need to know about Murcia. I have found it very useful when venturing out to new towns and villages that I might not have otherwise gone to. An excellent read.

This is a great book to get you pointed in the right direction about the law in Spain. Searl has a plain English style of writing and is easy to understand. It's regularly updated and well worth buying the newest edition as the laws here change frequently!

We bought this book as we wanted an insight as to what its really like to emergrate. Although the book did provide this, i would avoid reading this book if you are looking to be inspired. We found the narrative of the book to be fairly negative, which i suppose is understandable due to the problems the Goddards experienced. I think this book is most useful for learning from the Goddards' mistakes which to me, with the benefit of hindsight, seem glaring obvious.

By all means this book is worthy of a read, but is not suitable as a 'how to' guide on how to emmigrate to new zealand. For me, all this book did was leave me feeling that I am in need of some different points of view and some accounts of people who took a different tact ... Read More:
