We bought Lonely Planet's Yellowstone and Grand Teton guide to plan our annual vacation to this region. Within the pages of this modest volume we found all of the information that we needed to plan and manage our trip. This book is beautifully put together, with the different areas of the National Parks compiled into logical and easy to read sections. The maps are detailed and clear, and there is an abundance of pictures to give you a good impression of the coutryside. I can honestly say that LP's Yellowstone and Grand Teton guide had a significant impact towards the success of our trip. It's Lonely Planet at its best.

The Field Guide to The Animal Kingdom follows on in exactly the same format as the previous two books which focused on the Magic Kingdom & EPCOT at Walt Disney World in Florida.

This series of books is a great buy whether you're a big Disney fan or simply a guest who's planning on or already made a trip to the parks. That's the real beauty of these books, they're informative & contain superb artwork, sketches, etc without being too "geeky".

This particular volume features all of the lands & attractions within Disney's Animal Kingdom & not a stone is left un-turned. The park is obviously a lot newer than the Magic Kingdom & EPCOT and subsequently there's less to focus on but the author still does ... Read More:

But my one reservation with this book is that it only scratches the surface...and as the pages are quite small, most of the photos are only passport-sized.
