If you have already booked a Broads boating holiday first check with your hire company to see if this map is included in the price, as many will give you a copy when you pick up your boat!!!

Overall its a good basic map in full colour containing good information which will get you safely around the broads network allowing you to enjoy your boating holiday. There is also a whole lot of tourist information on the reverse side.

I have only given 4 stars as the map does not list every single public mooring place available to Hire Craft. Rod Heikell's guides are seen as the definitive guides to sailing (cruising) in Greek waters.

Ports, harbours and marinas are clearly and accurately described and the diagrams are clear and easy to follow. We sailed recently in Greece and along with the Imray chart, this guide formed all the information you are likely to need.

My one complaint is that co-ordinates are not given for the ports, harbours, marinas and other points of interest such as quiet anchorages and bays. To input these into the GPS meant going back to the chart, where it would have been so much easier to be able to lift them straight from the guide. Hopefully this will be fixed in later editions. Without doubt this is the most useless map I have ever bought. It is only useful function would be to decorate a wall as it has virtualy no detail, names of canals are missing, canal dimensions are misleading, it would be impossible to use to navigate by and it is difficult to see what purpose was envisaged for it. Put your money towards some good Navicarte books instead.

The 2006 revision of this indispensable pilot book includes numerous marinas and other facilities not even mentioned in the previous edition. In some cases it has more detail than updated charts. Worth every penny for cruising on this sometimes challenging but beautiful coast.
