The book will help you mainly for the abstract reasoning and decision analysis. However the verbal reasoning section is terrible. A lot of the answers are wrong and provide invalid explanations.
Helpful? Some parts
Worth the money? No
Better alternatives? Buy the succeeding the UKCAT book.

Whilst this book resolves all plot lines and manages to bring to an end a complex story with multiple interwoven plot lines, it does so at the cost of style and flair, with the books written structure becoming a vehicle for presenting plot lines rather than a structure that was in any way enjoyable to read.

Other than to finish reading the series I cannot recommend this book. Indeed on balance after the first 3 or 4 of the series, the books become tedious and onerous to read, therefore I would not recommend starting it.

This book is massive: make sure you have a strong coffee table! It has lots of places you have never heard of in it with really useful ideas why you should go at that time of year. I noticed one error where they put you should go to place X in May but the wrote up was in the Feb section; this only happened once although I have not yet read all of it.

I enjoyed reading this. I don't normally choose this type of fiction, but I found it most interesting. The descriptions are beautiful, parts read more like a poem, and the simple beauty in parts of this novel, lighten the mostly dark and disturbing storyline.
I would definately recomend this book, as not only a good thriller, but a poetic, and almost philosiphical read.

This little gem of a book should be in every backpackers back pocket. Concise, focused and descriptive you'll have no trouble identifying the plants and shellfish. There has been some comments about lack of information on animals to eat, this is probably because rabbits, pheasants and such are classed as game and will belong to the landowner. Whilst it's ok to pick a few plants, mushrooms and shellfish it will probably be frowned on if you start blasting away at the countryside or setting traps!

The most wonderful book I've ever read. I would like to repeat Mrs. Scarrott's review. If you only read one book in your lifetime let it be this one. This book has really taught me what it means to be a humanitarian. There are so few people in the world like Greg Mortenson and I hope his story will inspire more to follow his lead. Please read this book and understand a little more about these inoffensive people who desperately need to be educated and supported.

Terry Pratchett back to top form with the return of Moist Van Lipwig - scally, scoundrel and risk taker extraordinaire.

You need to have read Going Postal before this book to get the full flavour and understanding of the key characters.

Brilliant, with a court room scene near the end to die for.
