.Berlitz Italian Cassette Pack (Berlitz Cassette Pack) City Travel Guides > Books > Audiovisual and Multimedia from: Berlitz Publishing March 26, 1998 This pack is OK for learning words and phrases parrot fashion but does not help the user understand the construction of the language. It is not possible to learn how to put your own phrases and sentences together. Also, very Americanised (great if you're American!) so in some parts it is difficult for us Brits to follow the logic. Also, it is not easy to repeat the last phrases as the CD will jump back to the start of the track (if you learn in the car, like me). However was sent the cassette and no book. Totally useless without the book that accompanies it. Unless of course you like to hear someone talking italian without having the slightest idea what it means.
