This would an brilliant phrase book but for one major drawback: it gives no clue to the tone of the words. It claims: "It is very difficult for non-natives to hear these tones, let alone reproduce them" But if you're not going to learn the tones then it's all a bit pointless - no-one will understand you! As well as that it gives you a guide on the best restaurants on the island, which are easily accessable as the island is small and so getting to these places is fairly quick!
