OK, these stories are harmless enough, but certainly nothing special. In the blitz of publicity that surrounded the launch of the series, the author kept saying that the books filled a clear gap in the market: there was Horrid Henry for boys, but no equivalent for girls. Really? I'm not one to object to more 'girl power' in children's books -- the more, the better -- but it just seems wrong to suggest there are no strong female characters out there.
All in all, another cynical exercise in celebrity publishing.

What a fantastic book!!! i bought this with great anticipation and was greatly rewarded, beautifully simple knits using the most gorgeous yarns. Erika Knight takes a simple and very easy to knit baby garment and using luxurious cashmere or silk it turns into a gorgeous luxury item before your very eyes.
I was delighted to see what seemed a basic pattern transform into something you would be proud to give as a gift.
Top marks, buy this book and you will not be disappointed.

I still think that the Alice in Wonderland book is the benchmark for current stock of pop-up books, but this is easily in my #2 spot.

I'm not quite as enamoured of the art used here on WoZ as I was with AiW, but the quality and design is up close to the top. Very tempting to add the final star as current price £9.99 represents very good value.

Not a purchase likely to be regretted.

My son was always hard work when it came to reading, he's 9 and books were either too young or too old for him. Then I bought him Flanimals...I am proud to say he now spends hours sitting reading the books (I bought the other two too) and laughing to himself.
If you want your kids to develop a love of reading you've got to get a subject that appeals to them..Flanimals does this by the bucketload!

Does just what it says on the cover - it tells you how to make an impact.
After reading this book, even just from reading the first chapter, I realised just how consistently badly we all present information at work, and without a second thought too. We spend so long gathering the data but don't spend a few minutes to make sure it is presented well. And once you realise this and understand how to improve things, it is so easy to do.

My husband chanced upon this book in the library. We fought (not quite literally) over who should read it first after I 'stole' it off him part-way through. Trashy but brilliant pop culture from the movies that inspired more merchandise from more diverse sources than you could of ever imagined. Sansweet gives us a complete cross section here, plenty of new material for the most hardened fan but fun and accessible for anyone into the bizarre and unusual.

This is the best value book I have ever bought. One turn of the page can maybe send you back to a fast food restaurant in 1977, complete with card novelties, the next to a premier in 1983 London. Complete with press pass! It is truly a marvel!

I've never seen such tempting food on a book cover...I just longed to eat it at once! The recipes are all of a high standard, and the photography glorious. I have to admit that I have not warmed to the authors to anything like the same degree: their personal anecdotes seemed smug and self congratulatory, and I won't be booking a holiday with them! The excellent recipes are frequently fairly complex and time consuming, with many stages in each dish, and the book is probably one for the more experienced cook and not for a novice

Wherever you are going for your summer vacation, or even if you are just sitting at home, do read Robyn Scott's delightful book. It has a charm and warmth which combined with the unique philosophy of the big characters within the Scott family will charm you. For those of us who know and love Africa - despite the dark side that we hear reported everyday - this book reminds us of why we can never give up on Southern Africa. At the end of it all I can say is thank you to this remarkable young lady for filling a long flight with such a pleasurable read and ask her when will see her next book?
