I introduced my daughter to this book a month ago when she was 9 months old, and it is by far her favourite book. She crawls over to it and lobs other books out of the way to get to it, and then happily sits turning the pages and opening and closing the flaps, she can't get enough of it no matter what time of day it is, although we also read it every night before bed as well. We've had to buy a second copy as I know she's going to tear something soon, but to date it has withstood her vigorous opening/closing/page turning! I would highly recommend it.

I bought this book in hard page format so that my year-old twins could hear the story and see the pictures without being able to rip it up within seconds!!! Mommy loves reading this book - it's just fantastic. I buy it as a gift for all my friends with children. Never too young to start hearing Julia Donaldson's stories. I have many others from the same author, but Grufalo is my favourite. Just waiting for Grufalo's Child in hard page format now!!!!

OK, the product description is not very clear at all, and this is indeed a "fancy journal".

However, it is a useful, if not essential tool for users of the Law of Attraction. And it looks nice. There are tips and quotes dotted around the book, but we have to fill it in ourselves to make it 'work'.

This just wouldn't be the same with a 99p student notepad from the newsagent. It wouldn't keep you in the right frame of mind. I've had my Gratitude Book about a week now, and already its cost seems insignificant for such a great investment.

I have been waiting for this book for years.... and now when I have read it, I hope it was never written. IT does not at all live up the the Pillars of earth. Neither does it compare to some of the other good books Ken Follet has written. 150 pages less and it might have been ok. I try to end all the books I start, but this was heavy. The story line was light, some of the "histories" within the story are totally out of scope (like nuns in french war). I read 6 books in my vacation. This was the worst.

In the Spare Room, Helen Garner takes on death and wins. Nicola is a cancer patient who is staying in the spare room of her Melbourne based friend, Helen, for three weeks whilst she receives treatment. Helen narrates the novel, and using the same name as the author, one wonders whether there mightn't be some autobiography thrown in - or perhaps this is a double bluff.

It quickly appears that Nicola is not resigned to her fate, and intends to battle the cancer by any means at her disposal. Tim Winton does a great line in characters on the edge of society whose lives serve to illuminate that society; he portrays people who, while they have stepped outside the framework of standard social convention, seek reassurance as they fear showing their true feelings.

The tale of a teenager's rites of passage is offset against the force of nature, with the difficulties in finding a foothold in a tough, unyielding world.

For those of us who would not know one end of a surfboard from the other, the brio with which Winton brings the experience to life is very welcome; at that point, the surfing (which is only one part of the story, of course) becomes inclusive, rather than exclusive.

This is the worst book in the series, the others all deserve 5 stars but this one lacked the humour and credibility I have become used to from Stuart Macbride. The team are on a twenty year serial killer case but favourite character DI Steel doesn't appear enough and an ending that borders on ridiculous makes this one just an average read. Only worth it to keep your collection complete.

T Is for Trespass

I have read all Sue Graftons books and I think this is the best so far. I really enjoyed the story and it shows just how easy it is for someone to be a con-artist with very little effort. In a busy world people do not seem to check references as well as they should and do not want to interfere in other peoples lives even when they suspect something is not quite right. It kept me gripped all the way through and it had a great ending. I guess to enjoy Sue Grafton you should really start at A is for Alibi and work your way through to 'T' but maybe if you read this book and enjoy it you could go back. I can't wait for U if it's as good as T. is.

A great book for fun activities all year round. As soon as i saw it in the bookshop i loved it, and still do to this day, love it, love it, love it!If you like this but want something even better, try the great big glorius book for girls. By the way, i LOVE the illustrations!

absolutly unbelieveable! i cannot believe that such a quality book is being sold at such a low price. some amazing street artists (not just ur run of the mill graffiti artists) from around the world all with some very unique styles, using schools such as fine art, graphics and illustration.

i was going to go down to my local book shop and pay £30 for this but i amazed to see it here for a lot less! definatly worth a look for any art student wanting a modern perspective on some styles.
