.Laos (Footprint Travel Guide Series) City Travel Guides > Books > Footprint by: Jock O'Tailan January 30, 2006 Recently used this book along with the Lonely Planet book on a trip to Laos. Both are good and it's nice to have the two. LP is maybe a bit better in terms of places to stay and eat, the footprint is better for most other areas. The accommodation covered in the book is all mid to high range mostly over $25. If you are planning on staying in youth hostels this guide is next to useless, as it doesn't review any.
