His style of cooking is amazing I am never disapointed with the food. We eat the Bill Granger way nearly everyday now. I feel so much healthier and energized by the food I now cook. Everybody needs at least one of Bill's books, one book and your hooked. I am now collecting them all. So come on Bill more books please.

I have a shelf full of cookery books and had limited success. When I cook I want the results to be worth the effort, and this is a great little book with easy foolproof recipes. If you have been frustrated by recipes not looking like the picture and not tasting as good as how you imagined, finally this book really delivers.

So far I have tried the chocolate brownies, chocolate mousse and chocolate pecan fondants and have had rave reviews. Finally a book that has restored confidence in my culinary skills and managed to satisfy the chocoholic in me.

I am going to check out BBC's other titles.

Well, what can I say the title says it all really! This book is brilliant, just like eating from a take-away but without all the fat! Highly recommend it to people who like their take-aways at weekend!

I've just gone back through this cookbook as what put me off to start with is the lack of pictures for every dish, however in recent weeks I've made several of the recipes - the roasted goats cheese vegetable couscous is a real hit and the leg of lamb wih rosemary is a stunning summer dish. This is a great cookbook for summer - and fairly health conscious too - I hadn't realised Delia is a weight watcher!

I believe in simplicity.In my business, at the gym and in the food I eat.This is a godsend. Simple doesn't always mean easy, but in this case it's easy to use and produce delicious food, with a minimum of fuss.Any chef worth their salt will tell you food is at it's best when it's kept simple.Using this as your guide, you can create fantastic meals without slavishly following recipies, as Gary gives you lots of tips and ideas to vary the dishes to suit you.

I read this from cover to cover as we drove through France to Switzerland. Had to wait a week before getting home to start trying the recipes.Within hours of being back, I made the maple scones and the Green bean soup which was very special.I feel that Rose is 'in tune' in the same way as Skye Gyngell and Diana Henry, whose books are both exciting and beautiful, yet so manageable for the enthusiastic family cook.I have a library of hundreds of cookbooks collected over nearly fifty years and have spent time cooking in Michelin star kitchens, but none of this excites me as much as the books of these three; and also the Lebanese and Mediterranean books of Nada Saleh.My husband doesn't know it yet but have booked Eurostar to Paris to sample the Rose Bakery ... I'm not a student, I'm 30 years old but I have a bad habit of going to the supermarket, coming back having spent too much and still not enough ingredients to cook more than one meal! This book makes shopping simple, cooking even easier and all for a tiny budget. Some meals costing £1 per head?!?! I haven't tried all the recipes yet but found them so easy to follow and quick to do. You'll be healthier, fuller and your waller will be happier, so go buy it now.

I first came across rose Elliott's Bean Book when I was at University and I literally taught myself to cook from it and survived on a very slender budget by cooking all her wonderful, cheap and tasty bean recipes.

My original copy was falling to pieces so I've just bought this new edition -- and i still love it! The warmth and friendliness of the book are very encouraging and the recipes are lovely.

Jeanette Orrey has finally written the book I have been searching for in years....I have 4 young kids and have been trying to find recipies which were good old fashioned meals like I was given as a child. Her values and beliefs regarding eating habits mirror my own - I have tried many of the dishes and the kids loved them (even the fussy child)!!! I am eagerly awaiting the second book arriving!
