.Get by in Indonesian: 1998 Book (Get By In) City Travel Guides > Books > Get By by: Diana Flint, Lesley Reader March 05, 1998 I'm sorry to say I can't rave about this book as a get by guide. The lay out of the book is a bit messy. If you where in a hurry to come up with a phrase it would be difficult to grasp what you needed quickly, despite the book being set out in sections. For some reason after only a basic introduction into a few words of Indonesian in each chapter, there are whole sentences that you are expected to be able to translate and understand, I had to peek in the back for the answers to get to grips with it and luckily the dictionary at the back is invaluable.
