This is an excellent pocket-sized guide to a very beautiful and vibrant country. The chapters each cover a main region to visit (split into Port Louis, Central Mauritius, South Mauritius etc.) and include all the must-see places, many of which are not on the usual tourist trail. The guide only covers Mauritius and not any of the other nearby islands such as Reunion and the Seychelles, which are separate travel destinations in themselves. The map included is also very useful as local maps, where you can actually find one, can be very inaccurate or out-of-date - the locals don't need them with Mauritius being such a small island. ...
