.Northern France and Paris Region Green Guide (Michelin Green Guides) City Travel Guides > Books > Green Guide from: Michelin March 01, 2006 An excellent range of guides for anyone wanting to explore France town-by-town. They list almost every town and major village alphabetically, rank them by star rating, and tell you what there is and what's worth seeing. Lots of maps and suggestions along with guides of where to eat and stay in each place. Exploring France would be much harder and less successful without them. The only minus point is that any restaurant or hotel can vary quickly with a change of staff, and a great recommendation in the guide might not always match the current reality. .Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands (Lonely Planet Country Guide) City Travel Guides > Books > Green Guide by: Deanna Swaney, Graeme Cornwallis May 25, 2001 We tend to travel a lot and we often use the lonely planet books. They are always very useful. However this particular one was very disappointing, a lot of the places of interest are not even listed in the index so you have to go chapter by chapter to read about something. .Michelin Green Guide: Alsace (Michelin Green Tourist Guides (English)) City Travel Guides > Books > Green Guide by: Michelin 1999-01 This was the first Michelin Guides I've ever bought - never again! How weird to lay it out in alphabetical order. Yes, you can find the places easily from the map in the book but it's difficult to find the place on the map from the text. You can't orientate yourself to see what is in the locality of any given place because of the alphabetical layout.
