I'm in my thirties and I am loving this thing! I always wanted to learn some Italian, French, Chinese, German, and Spanish. Oh, not fluently. Just so I can say that I know "some". Thanks to this, I can now sing in Italian. It does not matter if you want to learn a little bit, "some", or become fluent. This small work/coloring book and CD combination is the perfect way to begin. Now, about those children aged 2-12 years ... Let us say you live in America and have kids. However, it's in a relaxed manner so you can listen, and pickup kew words and phrases easily. We tend to find the conversation funny rather than irritating, "Aaaaandy, Italian's are very polite people". Once you've heard the same about every other nationality, it does make you smile! Easy to listen to at home, in the car or on your iPod. And very useful as a starter into the language. If you only know a handful of words, or you are a complete newbie to Italian, I'd recommend the Teach Yourself CD.
