The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome is a must to strengthen your strategies as well as your knowledge on any kinds of specific symptoms on Asperger Syndrome. Also, Dr. Attwood explains other related and/or complicated syndromes. Although this book has so many pages, it is quite easy to read and includes no complicated structure. It is reader-friendly, if you ask me! If you find it quite tough to read it all through, you might as well pick up your favorite chapters. It's not often you can say ,of an Economics book, that it is "as gripping as a Thriller" but Joseph Stiglitz's book is a "jaw dropping" read.
The theme of this book is the terrible consequences of economic policy , exerted from the "Ivory Towers" , of the IMF.
We read about how the IMF and the US Treasury brought Asia to its knees, in the late 90's, by insisting that these regions adopt their orthodox approach to economics. What we find in this book is a detailed account of how IMF theory of the Free Market is at variance with economic experience. If you want to learn about the
inner workings of global economic policy and how it can go badly wrong, then you must read this incredible book.

This is a heartfelt and poignant book that details the authors deep respect for these giants of the sea. Part scientific description, part history of whaling, part travelogue and with several diversions to Moby Dick, this book shatters myths yet manages to divulge loads of new facts and interesting stories. Beautifully illustrated, this an extremely well laid out book, and for a hardback, remarkably light, which I think is important as it can be read on the train.

Well worth a look for any nature lover, anyone with even a passing interest in the sea, and anyone who just wants to read a darn fine history and travel book, this must encourage you to read and help you understand Moby Dick a book I have never read but certainly intend to do so ... Read More:

The outline in the Amazon `product description' above is a fair summary, but it should be stressed that there is nothing sensational or overtly political about this book. It tries to be a reasoned economic assessment of our current plight, although doubtless it will upset some `free market' and `pro-business' zealots. It is a very timely and its predictions seem to be being born out - for example on page 191 we read `the US Treasury .... will be forced to act, rescuing more banks by injecting public sector capital and, ultimately, taking many into public ownership'. This book saved my life on the MN330 unit at Royal Holloway. If you are doing it, you need to get to know. Well worth £25, and it's the only book I haven't wanted to sell after completing a year. It's nice.

This is a spine-tingling (not necessarily in a good way!) long short story with hauntingly gothic imagery that shifts and stirs beneath a prosaic surface.

The female protagonist is confined to her room as a 'rest cure' which might be associated with what we now recognise as post-natal depression, but the enforced 'rest' that is more akin to imprisonment releases something in her psyche that might be madness...

The yellow wallpaper of the title is both a kind of fairy-tale mirror and a window to another world that allows the narrator to see the female figures caught beneath it and living out their lives beneath its shadows, an incredibly haunting and indicting imagery for Victorian England.

It took me a couple of days to read this book. It is a real eye opener into the underworld of gangsterism and mafia. At times the statements were a little scary but, I felt, truthful.
This book tells the story of Carlton Leach and his friendship with Nigel Benn and the Essex boys. There are stories of his life and how the underworld of drugs functions. His account of the murders and his days of the doorman and security at the famous Ministry of Sound is excellent.
I am now reading Bloggs 19. These books are recommended for anyone interested in gangland accounts. Highly recommended.

I can't be bothered wasting my time on a considered examination of this man's prose.
He went to that lobster event and all he got out of it was one long whinge about the pain of the lobster.
He is dull , colourless and uninteresting as a writer.
