.Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire Walks (Pathfinder Guide): Walks (Pathfinder Guide) Search: Wales by: Brian Conduit May 01, 1993 I like the Pathfinder books in general as they are easy to use and cater for all types of walks with varied environments even in one walk. The key maps are useful and the individual walk maps are acceptable. We recently used the pembrokeshire guide for a weeks holiday at Tenby. We completed two simple walks, two medium and one hard. All were different to each other and the highlighted features were good. The only slight negative i could find was the odd occasion when i wasnt sure if we were going the right way but common sense prevails. .Surfing Britain (Footprint Surfing Guide) (Footprint Activity Guide) Search: Wales by: Chris Nelson, Demi Taylor March 25, 2005 A great read and the perfect guide for the professional or amatuer. If your planning a road trip or just fancy a change from your local break then I can highly recommend this guide. We spent two weeks travelling GB and found loads of spots we'd never heard of. It's also nice to support a fellow female surfer. If your planning a road trip or just fancy a change from your local break then I can highly recommend this guide. We spent two weeks travelling GB and found loads of spots we'd never heard of. .Scrambles in Snowdonia (Cicerone Guide) Search: Wales by: Steve Ashton April 30, 1992 I've had the guide a while now and have completed the majority of harder scrambles described in the book. All routes have been described with precise detail and further clarified with photographs, providing an excellent route description. A diverse range of routes has been included, with the three star classics to the lesser known routes (which are usually more rewarding). Steve Ashton has evidently put his years of experience into the guide and has produced a classic. Even the size of the guide makes it perfect to go into the back of a mapcase. .The Welsh Three Thousand Foot Challenges: A Guide for Walkers and Hill Runners Search: Wales by: Roy Edward Clayton, Ronald Turnbull, Ronald Turnball 1997-03 Being a member of Eryri Harriers for the past five years I was talking to Don Williams of Mynydd Llandygai during our march Border League Race at Wallasey on the Wirral. He along with another friend Emlyn Roberts (winner of the 1991 Snowdonia Marathon in a very impressive 2hrs 32min)paced Colin Donnelly back in 1986 when he broke 4hrs 20min for the Welsh 15peaks,a record that still stands. The only way to enjoy the Welsh3000s is to know the route like the back of your hand,and Roy Claytons excellent book gives excellent advice on different routes and possibilities if you are experienced enough to RUN the entire 27.6miles.
