Even though an 825 page book could hardly be called "In Brief" it is a pleasant change to find an author who is able to write something about a very regulatory subject in such a readable manner. There have been many books written in the past about the English and Welsh Building Act and its associated Building Regulations, but many authors seem to completely miss the point and try to turn their books into their life's literary work and soapbox.

This fifth edition is a really worthwhile book and I have no hesitation in giving it a five star recommendation.

Buy this. It makes the basics clear and easy to understand. You need to understand the basics to get the rest of course. Follow the book and answer the questions - a very good aid to Land.

I had been waiting a little while for this title, it was well worth the wait. Equity and Trusts (i think) is an extremely complex and difficult subject yet this title crunches the core essentials into a small pocket sized book, making it very accessible for exam revision.

With some revision aids however, i have found that the information provided is too brief, but this gets the balance just right. The information is broken down very well with helpful summaries and diagrams. Additionally all the core topics are included and it personally covered everything on my LLB course. I would highly recommend it to anyone revising for the equity and trusts exam, who needs reassurance of the basics.

This book's value more than exceeds the price tag. A good, clear explaination is provided on all main areas of family law; from establishing parenthood to distribution of a deceased property where there is no will. This book is not in depth but provides an excellent understanding for further research. Although the book is very short it is very concise AND easy to read. It would be impossible to write a shorter account of the way English courts apply principles of family law. It is made yet easier to read by the inclusion of relevant parts of statute law so the reader need not have to have two books open to grasp the concept under discussion. This is probably the best Rough Guide I've ever used and there have been many!

It really is all you need to find your way round this dazzling country,at least for a first visit.
Wales is surely a land of contrasts but if you make this guide your companion there should be few surprises.
As ever it is very strong on arrival,accommodation and restaurants although we did experience an unpleasant restaurant in Conwy it was for the most part extremely reliable.

The maps of town centres are invaluable and make sure you find time to read the history section before you go.

It does not deal with technicality that abounds in other publications, but with the actual taking of photographs, especially how to select a subject, how to shoot it, how to make and use your contacts (applicable also to digital), and how to create a picture essay.
