Buying a Dyson saved the hassle of making shore you had some bags for your hoover as you didnt need any for it - which is great!
So, when i saw this design (and knowing how good Dysons are at sucking things up) I just had to have it!
Its funny how all the hoover companies who wouldn't except Dyson's designs immediately copied them when his hoover was selling like mad. The only problems with it would be just picking just like you can do with other hoovers. - I think this Vacuum Cleaner is the best I've ever bought (for the price it is definitely worth it!).

Have used a Dyson DC01 for the past 15 years along with various other brands that came and went! DC25 arrived today (2 days after ordering it through Amazon!) and it is absolutely brilliant! It addresses all the issues I had with the DC01 which was best in its class at the time. The DC25 is light weight, has adequate capacity and deals with all types of floor at the flick of a switch. Firstly, I can't believe that people are giving this excellent machine such poor reviews! It's a hand-held vacuum cleaner and as such, isn't in the same league as your bigger Dysons, however, in my opinion, it holds its own rather well. It's fantastic for sucking up toast crumbs, excess toddler food, bits from the kitchen floor and cleaning up the car. It looks rather funky too and I often find myself posing around the house with it(!)

If you've got other Dysons, the tools will more than often fit (the flexible crevice tool and the dusting brush certainly do.) It's great, it's easy to empty and I love it - highly recommended!

I bought this Dyson in 2001 and paid about £220. It has been fairly reliable during this time but considering that it is only used on average once a week for half an hour does not equate to an awful lot of use.
When I first purchased the machine I was very impressed with its cleaning abilities. The amount of dust that it picks up is staggering, I thought my carpets were clean until I saw what was in the dust container. The hose was also very long which enabled me to get to the top of the stairs. The initial things I didn't like was that its hard to get into corners but to be fair this is a problem for all uprights. I own a white long haired cat and vacuuming used to be a nightmare - I have owned various makes of vacuum all purporting to be great for animal hair but none of them did what it said on the tin. This vacuum cleaner is a bit pricey but now it is a pleasure to clean the house! It does wonders in picking up the cat hair and is so easy to use. My only very small gripe is that the hose isn't quite long enough to do my stairs so I have to do a balancing act with the cleaner in one hand and the hose in the other. But that is a minor inconvenience. By far the best money I have spent in a long time.

.Dyson Soft Dusting Brush - Fits all Dyson Vacuums

I bought this dusting brush at my local Curry's and it cost £17.95 which was rather on the expensive side, but I'm not a huge fan of dusting and I liked the concept. It works really well, gets up all of the dust and is gentle enough to use just about anywhere. It is great at getting the dust out of the bottom of drawers, and the tops of books in my bookcase and as all of the dust goes into the vacuum cleaner, you are not transferring it from surface to carpet. On the minus side, the brush falls off my DC04 nozzle every couple of minutes despite trying out all of the adaptors. I contemplated taking it back to Curry's, but I like the principle of dusting as I vacuum so I have perdsevered with it.

We've has a dyson for at least 5 years but it recently decided it had had enough and refused to work. With a Springer Spaniel in the house vacuuming is something that we do a lot of (at least once a day) and it can be difficult to pick up the hair from the carpet with some vacuums.

The DC25 animal is fantastic. It picks the majority of the hairs up from the carpet on the first go and has drastically reduced the length of time that it takes us to vacuum the downstairs of the house. the ball makes it so easy to steer too and it's lighter and smaller than our previous Dyson, although it is just as sturdy. I would recommend this for anyone with a particularly messy pet.

After having 5 different vacuum cleaners over the past 8 years, none of them can compare to this ones efficiency. It really has made my house feel cleaner dispite having older carpets. Was always put off by the price but there are some good deals on Dysons now if you search around. My old hoover, left me having to sweep the stair AFTER I had cleaned it - won't be doing that again now...
