I all but gave up buying wine until someone bought me one of these. I became frustrated by tipping half a bottle of good red wine down the sink a day after opening it when it had gone off, or feeling that I had to finish the bottle, and so feel worse for drink the day after. This item has changed all that. I no longer have to think about the waste if I just want a glass or two from a bottle. Simply push in the rubber bung and use the pump to suck all the air out. The wine keeps well for at least a week like this, and so is the perfect gizmo, if like me, you are a one or two glass per night regular wine drinker.

The bungs are also dishwasher safe and after two years in mine, are still good as new.

This product is great for restoring that dull dirty carpet and even rinses the carpet well so the carpets r almost dry with good ventilation in about 30mins. its abit loud but gets results.

I make a lot of coffee: I fill this with beans at least twice a day, every day for the past ten years or so, and this little baby is still going strong. Sure, a burr grinder makes it easier to be precise, but after all this time I'm pretty accurate about the grind time. Some other reviewers have had a different experience, but I can testify that it's at least possible for one of these to last over a decade of constant use.

I know it's not exactly what it's made for, but when I'm outside of an evening, I always take this out and put it on the table pointing up at the parasol.
It somehow makes the ambience so much nicer having a warm glow, or just on the rotating colours if I have music on.
So much better than normal boring lighting

I bought this breadmaker after having been inspired by a daily mail review article on various breadmakers, then proceeded to check out reviews on amazon. Thanks to everyone who rated this machine, you helped me make my mind up.

The story so far: my efforts at making wholemeal bread ended in partial success, the bread not having risen to the extent required - then again the manual does warn of this and recommends you add vit c tablets to counteract this, which in fairness I didn't do.

My next effort was a plain white loaf - wonderful stuff and made several times since - I consider it on a par with anything you'd buy from a supermarket instore bakery - probably superior given you know all the ingredients in it, and cheaper also. ... Read More:

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George.

This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. The unit feels solid and durable, though the temperature control seems unusually delicate, as if it doesn't really do anything. While not quite instant, the 3003 has a good and well-damped response, you don't have to hang about waiting for the reading to stabilise while adding ingredients.
It is not cluttered up with silly menu systems or redundant features found on some others we looked at.
It is simple and intuitive to use, quick and accurate. What more do you need from a kitchen scale?
