After having 5 different vacuum cleaners over the past 8 years, none of them can compare to this ones efficiency. It really has made my house feel cleaner dispite having older carpets. Was always put off by the price but there are some good deals on Dysons now if you search around. My old hoover, left me having to sweep the stair AFTER I had cleaned it - won't be doing that again now...

I've owned the "classic" 4-slice Dulait toaster for the past 10 years which, to be fair, is a heck of a long time and only two elements have gone (but boy are they costly to replace). Well, it was as the second element failed that I began to look around and I saw this one on Amazon and read the excellent reviews. I popped it in my saved basket as I tend to do whilst contemplating a purchase. I was delighted therefore last week to find the price reduced to about the same, or slightly less, than the cost of repairing my Dualit. I ordered it and, as is the case with Amazon, it came really quickly, even on free Supersaver delivery. I heard about this lamp and dismissed it as a trashy cheap sounding toy, but I was in Dublin recently and saw one in operation in a philips shop. It was actually kind of nice and because you can turn down the intensity of the colours a lot, it really manages to create a lot of different moods.

When I got it back home it was even better, in the evenings, in our white painted apartment, it could totally transform the look of the place. Light blues, deep greens, or hellish deep red, whatever the colour or intensity you want with the remote it only takes seconds to get it.

I was extremely disappointed by this kettle. A healthly adult may not find it too much trouble to operate, but for children, the disabled and elderly it is useless. My mum couldn't work out how to use it at all.

The kettle is very HEAVY. Empty it weighs in at 1.3 Kg which is TWICE the weight of an ordinary kettle. The lid is awkward to open and the shape makes it difficult to fill. The small ON light is impossible to see from most angles. The valve release requires too much pressure for less able people to use. The spout I didn't like either. I was never confident when and where the boiling water was going to go.

The on switch has failed after 2 months of light use. This switch is badly designed and relies on springs which are ... Read More:

I purchased 3 of these for my daughter and neices, all were absolutely fine & certainly no leaks! They're a great size for lunch bags & the matching lunch bag has a veclro strap in it to hold the bottles upright anyway.
I much prefer these to the plastic bottles as the plastic ones tend to get chewed and don't hold as much drink in as the aluminium ones.
Plus these are a nig hit for bike rides as they fit perfectly in the drinks holders.

have been through lots of cob holders and all have broken because too flimsy. These are well made and sturdy, have used them a lot and they are good quality and still doing the job...they also look good!
