I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

Easy to use, effective dehumidifier. Compact. Portable - in the sense that it has a carry handle and weights about 10 kg (about as much as a small suitcase). No wheels.

Using 3 AAA batteries (included), the white leds are pretty bright. The unit is very compact and can be wall mounted with the included doubled side sticky pad or screws. It can stand on a flat surface but isn't as stable as I'd like.

It comes on when it senses movement and off after 15 seconds.

I took a star off cos it turns on even during daylight, while the led means it has very low power consumption, the AAA are not cheap and have limited capacity. I think Philips should have built some logic in it to only turn on only when it's dark.

You may say that's too much to ask for from a £6 unit, but I have a Masterplug LED light that cost £5 that can do just that and more. Shame it's now discontinued.

Firstly, it was straight forward to assemble which is a good thing in itself.

The cleaner is extremely powerful and picks up the slightest crumb. Its easy to manoeuvre and not too heavy. Its is a bit noisy, but then it drowns out my children, which is a good thing.

I love the Turbo Tool which picks up the dog hairs perfectly without too much effort.

Overall I thought the cleaner was pretty good, I did purchase the Vax Mach6 origionally, but had to return it as a knob was faulty, I found that the machine was not as powerful, as the Turbo, but again this may have been a further fault with that particular machine. Bought this from Amazon in May 08 and it has been working perfectly every since.. looks great and really complements the other black Bosch appliances in the kitchen.

What more can I say.. easy to keep clean, turns bread into toast and the wire rack is useful for toasting bagels etc.

This map is similar to the Mercator which is the one which almost everyone sees and is good for navigation. But this is totally incorrect for showing the size of countries and continents. It shows Greenland to be about the same size of Africa when in fact, Africa is 13 times larger.

Everyone should look up Peters Projection on the web to realise this.
