I have this CD on constant repeat! The music is so varied but holds your attention every step of the way. Bocelli's voice is one you just have to fall in love with. His "Romanza" is 1 of my favourites but "Vivo Per Lei" has me hooked also. GET THIS CD!!!!!!

Andrea Bocelli simply has one of the most beautiful voices in the world. Amore is a collection of fine love songs, which Bocelli sings absolutely beautifully. These tracks are really suited to his style - they just sound so rich and you can really feel the emotion in his voice. The production on this album is equally great and Amore really is one of the most beautiful albums of the year.

A CD that has so much beauty it moves you from beginning to end. His voice portrays so much emotion that you don't just appreciate the sound, you feel every note that he sings.

There are some CDs that are simply labelled "mood music", and this for me is one that I file under such a category. Every time I listen it lifts me and transports me to places only I can go to. Somewhere that escapes the modern world.

The choice of arias is perfect. Many of which I was unfamiliar with. However, I have since introduced this CD to a number of people, many who listen to an entirely different genre of music; nearly all have been captivated by it.

All I can say is buy it and soak up the rich fare on offer.

I was so surprised about this disc!
Superb concert, superb picture BUT what on earth are they doing with the sound?? Stereo!!! On a Blu-Ray disc!! Come on, this is the 21st Century and modern technology!
Says 5.1 PCM on the casing, but the actual stage performance is PCM Stereo.

Real shame................

First heard Andrea Bcelli ages ago singing with Sarah Brightman - "Time to say goodbye". And now I can't get enough of him, well worth watching - Full marks.

Romanza" was my first Andrea Boticelli album and still remains my favorite. I think this is the tenor's most definitive collection, showcasing his sweet, rich sound, powerfully held long notes, and exquisite sense of cadence. Supposedly, this was the CD geared to "bridge the gap" between pop and opera. Boticelli certainly exhibits a diverse style with this top-notch selection of romantic songs.

When I originally bought "Romanza," back in the 20th century, I did so because of Botecelli's interpretation of "Con te Partiro," (Time To Say Goodbye"), which is still an exceptional song after all these years. I have all of Bocelli's CDs and for me this ranks number 1, followed closely by Cieli di Toscana. As with most of his works, the first time of hearing doesn't have too great an impact but the music grows on you. I will be humming a tune during the day and wonder what is that? Then I remember that it's off the Sogno album or Cieli di Toscana album. I then cannot wait to get home so that I can play the cd again. His voice is great, the tunes are melodious and the overall production superb.
Highly recommended.

.Vivere : One Night In Tuscany

Confusingly there are two completely different Vivere (Dare to Live) albums, one of them a `Best of Andrea Bocelli' single CD, and this one, a CD plus DVD release of the singers live concert at the Teatro del Silenzio (Theatre of Silence) in Bocelli's Italian birthplace of Tuscany on 5th July 2007.

With this live concert album the CD is made largely redundant by the DVD, offering just 6 songs from the concert plus two studio bonus tracks, and to me there seems little purpose including it with this album (the concert is also available as a DVD only release titled `Vivere, Andrea Bocelli Live in Tuscany' which is the same footage as on this album).
