I have been a great fan of Kings of Leon since they released their first song and bought their first album when it was first released. Their second album was great and the third was even better. With this album I can't quite get into it? Maybe if I make myself listen to it after a few drinks I will find the same love for this as I do with the other albums?

This is an outstanding album from a true bluesman. Major record company involvement has not dented his ability to produce searing blues with a wonderful sincerity and his usual humility. Delta style blues at its best.

Oh dear - what a disappointment. I have to agree with many of the other 2/1 star reviewers who can at least see through Noel and Liam rather than pretending this is a "Classic" "Outstanding" album.

It is not.

Plodding on and meandering aimlessly, the two lads have fallen for trying to do something different, while at the same time housing, more the ever, elements of songs-gone-by; almost Revolver like. (but at least that was of its time...) Highlights include "The Shock of the Lightening", which is their usual helping of a good quality song which these day's takes a good few years to be thought up... Let It Go
This is a brilliant CD, Will has excelled himself again and there isn't one track that I don't like. I bought it on the strength of Changes, but all the tracks are great. I just keep playing it over and over in the car as loud as my son can put up with.

This is a difficult one to review - as a fan of the band for many, many years I was initially disappointed on first listen. I still don't think This Was Just Your Life is actually that strong a starter (in my opinion Frantic was better - agreed, though, that St. Anger as an album was poorer). Yet, on the whole, and after hours of repeat listening, it is a very well crafted album with many merits.

The melodies are hidden well and only really appear after about the third time round in the CD player. The rhythms, as usual, are worn on the sleeve and very groovy, a la their hard-rock era after and including The Black Album. My daughter bought me this for my birthday, cant stop playing it full volumn in the car. Cry everytime it gets to "slipping thru my fingers" I can really relate to this song. A must for every Abba fan and even some who aren't. All the cast did a fantastic job with all the songs, some better than others.

When I first heard 'Mercy' I didn't like it because I thought the background riff sounded too much like the one from 'Stand By Me' and, for me, it didn't quite work. Also, it is too easy to compare the latest female singing sensation to Dusty Springfield or Amy W which isn't fair on anyone concerned. Then I heard 'Warwick Avenue' and my interest was piqued (I had just split up with someone who lived in that part of London). Still I was waiting for something more.

Then I head 'Stepping Stone' and I knew I was going to buy this album, and I have not regretted it one bit. This is a wonderful treat for all dylan fans and another astoninishingly great installment to his bootleg seies.
the best songs have to be, "red river shore" and "can't escape from you"
my only advice would be buy this now but not the £89 one but the £13.00 one
