I bought this game after being caught up in olympic fever, if you work full time and only play games occasionally i would not recommend this game at all. It's far too hard, with no adjustable skill settings. If you dont have the time to spend days and weeks honing your finger speed then all you'll end up with is 15s 100m runs and 3m long jumps. Yet some disciplines are a lot easier than others, my first throw on the javelin was 92m yet i cant win single point at table tennis. A lot of inconsistency, but mainly towards the difficult end of the scale.

The only time i get enjoyment out of this game is in 4 player mode with friends, then it does get interesting as times against the CPU's worlds best don't matter.

I do not claim to know a lot more than most people about this game. But from the demo it is obvious that the game has amazing promise, if you unlock its full potential. For those who have played the demo; you should know that that is not the extent of the game, the Secret Apprentice's powers grow from then on, so you won't be disappointed. The only flaw that I can see so far is the apparent lack of multiplayer, but I have not yet confirmed this point, so there is still a possibility of multiplayer.

I recommend this game to anyone who truely likes Star Wars and/or those who just want to have some fun throwing Stormtroopers around

Ok there's the new features like the club-tuning, coaching & simultaneous on-line play and these are all good but other than that the game is basically the same as ever. No noticable improvement in graphics for me, game play exactly the same including the clumsy system of gauging distance ("so should I set this putt to 10 feet & add 50% overspin(?) or 20 feet & hit it 60% power or...."), the funny little chip shot option that feels like it's been imported from an entirely different golf game, the miraculous ability to control the flight of the golf ball AFTER you've hit it. Uncharted is, in the main, a cover based over the shoulder shooter; however Naughty Dog have crammed in some platforming elements, vehicle sections and a few puzzles. These are all provided within an Indiana Jones style adventure story, with some of the best graphics seen on PS3.

And it's the story that will propel you forward; the voice acting here is far better than the norm for a videogame, and the characters are genuinely likeable.

The gameplay is tight and well paced, with the shooting sections broken up at just the right moment by the platforming and puzzle solving. The game has also recently been patched to support the new PS3 trophy system which adds a great deal of replayability.

I bought Call of Duty 4 on PS3 simply because I like FPS games and was looking for a good title to own. My purchase was based upon overall rating - 4 stars by 10 or more reviewers is a good candidate for me.

The first thing that I was amazed by was the graphics of this game. They are trully amazing and almost unbelievable; they add a degree of realism to the game that is unique.

I also particularly liked the characters in the game that they themselves are close to reality and do not appear totally imaginary or even surreal as you sometimes get in modern games. They are plain marines and they have been scripted in this manner. No fancy gadgets, no weaponry from the future - sounds a bit traditional but it works brilliantly.

see now i havnt played this yet, butttt as rob seems to be talking it down im mad, ye iv had madden since 02, and iv had fifa since 2000, both are the games that lead there sports, dont tell me how ur gna compare them because u cant!! times u want to play one kind of football, and then the other, so dont talk a game down u havnt played, and ye madden 09 is good, but im having faith so is this one, so tbh, im buying both!!!! xxx

This game is ammazing. The best fighter on PS3? No. Best Fighter On XBOX 360? No. Best Fighter ever? Yes!!! I like the fact that you can create your own character and battle with them online. Very challenging and very fun! A must have for PS3!

Right from the start there are significant problems using this product with several technical challenges involved in even getting the game to start properly including removing dll files from the installed game and replacing them with new ones from the spore website, never mind the infuriating habit of only adding shortuts to the Vista "game explorer" tab rather than on the desktop or in a normal menu.

Once you do get the programme to work it looks lovely however there are more challenges in store for unaware purchasers if your creature gets even slightly complex the programme hangs when you try to save it.

Looks like EA have released a barely tested excuse for a finished product, if Spore the game is this poorly executed i'll be very disapointed.

I played this game for 2months and it really is a time waster. As you progress with them game youll find that the quests are similar to countless others, and all you are really playing for is higher levels for better stuff, and i say it is a time waster as it is addictive as you will find a need to set goals and keep playing until you achieve them, whether leveling to get a mount etc. But if you want to spend your money on a game just to spend time do it, but beware you may get addicted and your life may take a turn...
