. Wii Fit (Wii)
from: Nintendo
April 25, 2008
Wii Fit is so much fun and the delight of it is that I've seen people who wouldn't usually do conventional exercises working out.
I know its questionable how much you can expect to achieve just using Wii Fit, but the fact that you're doing some activity that is actually quite fun, rather than sitting on your rump and playing Mario Kart, surely thats a good thing?
Shame its out of stock most of the time, and its a shame that there are so many people out there willing to rip you off (thankfully for me, I got mine at its regular price). When you can get it, do.

. Mario Kart (Wii)
from: Nintendo
April 11, 2008
After playing this game on my friend's Wii, I went out and bought a Wii and this game. That's how much I enjoyed it.
I have the original Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo. The basic game play is pretty much the same. You are controlling one of the characters from the Mario universe as you attempt to race around tracks and win. Along the way, you can pick up power ups to help you or hinder your opponents. Of course, that means they can attack you as well, so watch out.
With this incarnation, you've got 32 courses to play. You start out with half of them available and earn the other half as you win races. They include fun new courses created for this version as well as the best of the courses from the older incarnations ... Read More:

. Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports)
from: Nintendo
December 08, 2006
With this console, more than any other, I'll have to pick my words carefully. I have owned the Wii for a year alongside and an Elite and a PS3. I have had a lot of fun with this console and some of the games, but it lacks something for me which I cannot necessarily put my finger on.
The console is well designed and a lot smaller than the others. The Wii menu is easy to use and the ability to create Miis is a fantastic feature (which Microsoft have copied with their new avatar capibilities due to arrive later this year). You also have the ability to play online as long as you have a broadband connection.
Regarding the games, you get a large list of exclusive titles and multi format games which have been designed with the Wii's controls ... Read More:

. Nintendo Wii Controller (Wii)
from: Nintendo
December 08, 2006
You only get one wiimote in the standard kit wii console and while this is a fantastic controller hence why I have given it 5 stars for fun I think it is over priced as unlike other consoles there is no 'after market' 3rd part alternatives that are cheaper.
I would welcome a reduction in the price by nintendo to make the additional wiimotes more accessible for more people. Your looking at the best part of £150 to get 3 more wiimotes and nunchucks required for 4 player mode. I have got 4 and it really does make play more fun and allow more people to join in.

. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
from: Nintendo
June 27, 2008
Who can't enjoy watching Kirby swallowing Bowser, spitting him off the stage and then frying mario with fire breath? Or watching Samus pick up a super spicy curry and taking out King Dedede?
If you are worried because you didn't own a Gamecube and never played Super Smash Bros. Melee, then you need not be! The new game offers a perfect starting point for new players. The adventure mode.
This is certainly not the best mode in the game and lacks the simplicity you'd get from another platformer like New Super Mario Bros. (DS), but it provides a solid 10 hours of gameplay to familiarise yourself with the story, and although the cutscenes lack any dialogue it turns out that Nintendo had quite a group of people doing the few lines that crop up while playing. ... . Turquoise DS Lite Console (Nintendo DS)
from: Nintendo
June 13, 2008
Ahhh... Nintendo. Nobody can beat Nintendo when it comes to the handheld gaming market. Nokia had a go with the N-Gage. I've only ever seen one N-Gage. And Sony had a slightly more respectable go with the PSP, which, while fun, broke fairly easily, became scratched and generally fell out of favour among those who wanted a more pick-up-and-play gaming experience.
The DS Lite improves on Nintendo's original release by making the console thinner, lighter and considerably better to look at. It's clear the Japanese gaming gurus took onboard all of the initial criticisms (of which there were not many) and built something that defies all expectations of handheld gaming.
To start with: the graphics. 2d graphics are crystal clear with bright, vibrant colours and a great ... Read More:
