We started playing at 8pm because there was nothing on tv (what a surprise) next thing we knew it was 1am!
Loads of fun, the lego angle is excellent- we love when you blow someone up and they break into lego bricks.
Excellent if you don't want your kids exposed to gratuitous blood and gore, but they want to play a great action game.
Once you've completed the levels in story play, you can go back, using other characters from the films and find other hidden areas and "treasures" not accessable to the basic characters- so the game isn't boring, you just keep going back as other people-or make your own person, choose a spade or a whip, and off you go...

I'm going to make this brief, because I have a feeling I will be re-treading the same ground and bringing up the same issues that many reviewers before me have already highlighted.

The original Halo was 'Combat Evolved' but this feels more like an inbred throwback. As far as I am concerned, Halo 3 isn't just a bad Halo game, it is a bad game full stop.

Where do we start? It's too short. Much too short. The plot really suffers for this as well; in fact the plot has been steadily unravelling since the original Halo. The ending is marginally better than Halo 2, but that isn't exactly high praise. The levels are far too linear, with none of the wide expanses of the first Halo, or the urban environments of Halo 2. This game is a fun way to excercise the brain. The main downside is that you must endure long, tedious, repetitive and annoying rumblings in the form of instructions. This unnecessary addition to the game (what on earth were they thinking?) can put gamers, especially kids off; therefore only three stars.

Ok there's the new features like the club-tuning, coaching & simultaneous on-line play and these are all good but other than that the game is basically the same as ever. No noticable improvement in graphics for me, game play exactly the same including the clumsy system of gauging distance ("so should I set this putt to 10 feet & add 50% overspin(?) or 20 feet & hit it 60% power or...."), the funny little chip shot option that feels like it's been imported from an entirely different golf game, the miraculous ability to control the flight of the golf ball AFTER you've hit it. Also (I could be wrong here, maybe it's just my perception) the thing that made TW08 an improvement over previous versions is that they'd made it more of a challenge to hit the ball straight ... The pink Nintendo DS..

I got a Nintendo DS in december 07,by April 2008 i had sold it on. I really, really wanted one and when i got it was completly addicted to it,perfect for when your partners watching the football! The Games appealed to me and i loved that i could take it anywhere and loved how it looked..but then i started to get bored because the games were too short and easy and i ended up not playing on it because i had completed all the games. I think i found i was too old for it at 20 and it was better for younger children as the games were too easy and childish. I would recommend it for children 100% as its great fun and educational. This game does at first seem to be a decent upgrade on the previous football manager...more in-depth gameplay, such as being able to choose what type of feeder club you want (after having been at the club for a while) which is great for boosting your finances, and much more. For all this I would have given it a four or even five stars.
BUT, there are those odd moments, which seem to be more prevalent than in the previous games. Now, in reality, there are numerous times when a team that has more shots on target loses. But when you've lost for the sixth time in a season when you've had as many as thirty shots ON target to the oponents three, it can get quite frustrating.

This game is great. Its been a while coming but im not disappointed in the slightest. Gameplay is quality, graphics are crisp and the gameworld has been well thought of. im willing to give this game 5/5 but one thing which drives me crazy is the cutscene everytime you die, you HAVE to watch it and then respawn straight after. Near the end of the game you die quite alot!
