.Road Atlas France (AA Atlases) (AA Atlases) by: Automobile Association (Great Britain) November 30, 2007 Only that it's good, has clear mapping and lots of detailed information. It has a ring binding, which I like as this enables you to keep the book open at the desired page without damaging it. It also has a complete index of towns and villages at the back, and each of the city centre maps has its own street index - very useful. Not to mention the small scale route planning map and the map of administrative departments. What more could you need? And it's just about small enough to fit in your glove compartment. .The Rough Guide to the Dordogne and the Lot (Rough Guide Travel Guides) by: Jan Dodd, Nana Luckham April 26, 2007 I am really pleased with this book which seems to be up to date and accurate. I had lost faith in travel guides having bought one from a different publisher for Bulgaria last year.Some listed hotels had been closed for years and some built years ago were not even listed although the book was a new edition. I have never been to Dordogne before and need accuracy. All websites mentioned in the book seem to exist (at least the 20 which I have tried.) Details of bike and kayak hire are given and those I contacted responded. I feel that I know the Dordogne so well that I don't actually need to go there in person! .Aquitaine Guide Vert (Michelin Green Guides) from: Michelin 2006-04 It seems the Michelin Green Guide to Aquitaine is not (yet?) available in English. This version - "Le Guide Vert" - is in French. I was expecting it to be in English. This is not too much of problem, but it does seem that no other Michelin Guide to the area has been published in English since the 2001 "Michelin Green Guide Atlantic Coast: Poitou, Aquitaine, the Basque Country" which is still selling for around £30.
