I have both of Cesar's other books, and figured by the third book it probably wouldn't be so great. Boy, was I mistaken! I turned randomly to the chapter written by Ilusion Wilson Millan, Cesar's beautiful wife. I was instantly hooked, and could not put this book down. I then turned to the chapter Cesar wrote about his beloved sidekick, Daddy, the greatest representative of Pit Bull known to man. I know there are a lot of people whom I call "anti-Cesareans". These are people who dislike Cesar Millan because a) he doesn't have a degree and b) they (erroneously) believe he is cruel to dogs and c) they (erroneously) believe he is an illegal immigrant. ... .Cesar's Way Deck: 50 Tips for Training and Understanding Your Dog by: Cesar Millan April 08, 2008 As a dog psychologist and being an author myself, the concept behind this book is simply--practicality--and making it easy and fun on the eye. You wouldn't know it unless you are a writer or even better, have your own book published. You'll be amazed how many times I told my clients, "Yes. I have covered it in the book. It is in chapter fifteen, page 217, second paragraph and blah blah blah." Well, you get the idea. Sadly, not everyone reads or can make the time to read. This one won't get you that lost. So I agree the information isn't new, but the concept is. This is because we are lazier and busier than ever and cards sometimes make more sense. After I had read, `Cesar's Way' and `Be the pack leader' I pre-ordered this item. These cards are an add-on or in other words it builds onto the books. While reading the books I had marked so many ideas throughout the book/s and ear mark the pages that these cards are a mini reference point for us humans to remember what we need to keep re-enforcing ourselves each day, well I do anyway. The cards help to jog your memory instead of going through the whole book/s. However I do read through various sections for a refresher. I just wish that my soon to be 11 year dog could read so we could help each other. My 16 month old dog is much better as he learns very quickly what is acceptable and what ...
