I am a college student and for some reason, all colleges and schools seem to think that we love to take out loans and just pay them money for tution or books, but this was a really good alternative than my college bookstore. I got a brand new book for the price of a used book which is awesome. I highly recommmend it!

doesn't have enough indepth information, just simple references for the most part. thought I'd give it a try to compare to Footprints, Eyewitness, etc. It's more armchair reading than in-country helpful. Beautiful pictures, of course!

Initially I was disappointed when I realized how small the book was, but I discovered that this book contained a lot of good nuggets of help for acquiring basic listening skills. This actually would be a great gift book for educators and people in religious work who want to learn how to connect better with others. One tragic reality of 21st century life is that we fail to learn how to get outside ourselves and connect with others. Good listening skills is an essential step toward learning how to communicate to others that they matter.

I was torn between a 4 and a 5 rating. What is good is great, but I think a few things should have been added.

I'd give it a couple of stars just for the loving detail of having printed it blue on white. It is a very interesting history. It is all the more informative because Sullivan gives alternate versions of various stories, instead of simply selecting the one he prefers. In addition, he mentions that he is slightly skeptical of some "official stories" without actually calling the source a liar. He has obviously spoken with or researched a large number of people involved in the industry. There is a lot of detail about various companies, although Levis gets the most space (as is appropriate.)
