We've gone to "The World" for 3 years now in a row, this year will be #4, our 5th total. I've purchased this book for 6. In fact, I've purchased just about every 'help' book on WDW there is out there! Sehlinger & Testa put out the best, hands down....period. They're un-biased, independent, honest, and fair. As a single parent of two boys, I just don't have the time to spend the absolute hours/days it would take to gather the info and do the research these folks do for me with teams of 'professionals' gathered by the authors! This book has alot of content, but not the things that I needed. There are cartoons, and there are lots of personal annectodes submitted by readers. And it does not work well as a quick reference if you are trying to find the answers to some simple questions. You really have to want to read it to get anything out of it. At the last minute we were confused as to where our hotel shuttle would be leaving us, and how to proceed on our first morning, but the book was too big to stuff in our backpack on our way into the park. We ended up ripping apart the book to get the parts we thought we might use. Frankly I was much better versed, having read the Frommers guide which I had borrowed from the library earlier.

This book was a total godsend. It was our first time (with kids), and this book answered every question we had and then some. We never asked anyone anything, if we had a question, we consulted the book. Only thing I wish they would do different is update it annually. Some of the newer rides weren't in it. But didn't make big difference. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it! When we go back, we will always have the most updated version of this book with us.

I truly believe this book made our vacation the BEST ever!!!! We never shood in line once!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

My first experience with the Unofficial Guide was back in 1993, when I was 16 and my parents took our family of five to Disney World around the holidays. My mom had bought the Unofficial Guide then to plan virtually all of our events and to this day (14 years later), I still remember how easy it was to hit all the favorite rides with relatively short lines.

It was for that reason that I ordered the 2006 edition of the Guide when it came time to take my family of three to Disney World while I was home on leave from Iraq in April of 2006. I was pleased to learn that it not only covered Disney World, but the Universal (and other) parks as well.
