.Thirteen Hours by: Meghan O'Brien May 13, 2008 This book is very sexually explicit. If that bothers you than steer clear of buying it. I loved it! It was great to read a 'no holds barred'..raunchy and very sexy honest book. I thought the author created 2 real characters with great dialogue and storyline. There is no excuse or reason given here for the amazing sex these two women delve into - there shouldn't be. .Infinite Loop by: Meghan O'Brien May 14, 2005 I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's my first Meghan O'Brien, but on the strength of this outing it will not be the last. The reviews that rate this author as a good story teller are spot on. There wasn't any big drama or plot swirling around these characters. They don't meet because Mel has a case that involved Regan. They aren't thwarting an international conspiracy. This book very softly and sweetly concentrates solely on these two and their burgeoning relationship. We get the details of their thoughts and observations. We experience their hesitations and insecurities. They are real, and behave like real people do. They aren't perfect, but they are distinct. .The Three by: Meghan O'Brien January 15, 2006 Meghan O'Brien's The Three was all in all a fun read. I read it because I absolutely enjoyed Infinite Loop, but have the same issues with both books. They hindered the reading of Loop less than they did that of The Three. To summarize, The Three is a story of 3 women involved in a romantic relationship in a post-apocalyptic US, in which only very few people survived a disease. It doesn't quite draw a picture of the entire country, we only get to know what these three women experienced before meeting each other, but those reflect what one would expect from a situation like this.
