i gotta say that i normally finish any erotica type book in hours. this book took me two + weeks to finish. i found the stories lame, non-interesting. as a lesbian myself, i felt offended that these stories were put together. after the first two pages of most of the stories, i had an idea where the story was going, didn't feel like reading the 'obvious' and poorly written sex scenes. so i skipped a lot of stories this way. and yeah even skipping the stories it still took me that long to finish it.

so glad i didn't waste my money buying this book. borrowed it from a friend who anticipated the book, then 'warned' me when i got it from her. when i returned the book it went to be used as a paper weight in her son's room or ... Read More:

"With Caution", the third (and hopefully NOT the last) of J. L. Langley's paranormal werewolf series, is a sure fire winner for me and well worth the wait for it in print. I just wish it hadn't taken so long! I fell in love with her writing "With Reservation". The only thing I fault with that book was the editing, which the publishers have clearly improved on in this latest work. If you haven't read "With Reservation" yet, I highly reccomend you do so or you may get lost with some of the characters and their history in "With Caution", especially with Remi, the main character of this work.

I was somewhat disappointed in Imagining Reality, though Uncommon Emotions got high marks from me; therefore, I was initially hesitant when I found that this book was returning once again to Virginia and the sometimes suffocating group of friends who bogged Imagining Reality down. I was pleasantly surprised, and pleased that the author focused this book on two characters only peripherally involved in "the group." It's not that I don't like the group. In fact, Galli has created an interesting and ultimately lovable group of women. But sometimes juggling all of those forceful personalities dilutes the thrust of her narrative line.

A good sequel maintains the tone of the original, versus trying to "outdo" the previous book by being more shocking, bigger, better, and ultimately introducing elements of the ridiculous. It treats the characters we've come to love and know with respect, versus creating manipulative situations just to keep the story going, or causing the protagonists to create their own uncharacteristic drama. A good sequel feels like a natural progression, breaking new ground with the characters and their lives.

Aftershock is a good sequel. A minor complaint of mine about Without Warning was that it ended too abruptly, but that was all right because I knew there were at least two more books in the series. Aftershock alleviates that annoyance well. We're returned ... Read More:

This book is very sexually explicit.
If that bothers you than steer clear of buying it.

I loved it! It was great to read a 'no holds barred'..raunchy and very sexy honest book.
I thought the author created 2 real characters with great dialogue and storyline.
There is no excuse or reason given here for the amazing sex these two women delve into - there shouldn't be.
I'm so glad Bold stroke published this one and didn't hide her in one of their collection books.
Way to go Meghan! Can't wait for your next one.

I won't bother with recaping the story, since it has already been done BUT I will give my 2 cents.
As far as romantic intrigue books go, this is the one to read. I couldn't put it down. It has great, one-of-a-kind characters, is well written and fast-paced, describes settings so vividly it feels like you are there, and contains a very satisfying romance. What occured to me while I was reading is that the story was so believable it made me wonder whether this could really happen, and whether people like this really exist. Lethal Affairs is a book I will keep and re-read.

I'm new to this Genre, and this is the tenth book I've read dealing with M/M love, sex, romance, passion...all the yummy stuff and I have to say that I LOVED every word on every page. I found myself laughing and crying with these characters. The author is gifted in a sense that she brought EACH of her characters to life, giving them all very different personalities. Ethan and Jamie are more than lovers, they are partners in life and that makes the plot more interesting.

Other books in this Genre fail to capture my imagination the way this one has done, some just don't go into detail in the love scenes, some have no sex at all. Isn't that why some of us read these? We want that hotness...
