I think that this book did a pretty good job helping me prepare for this test. The practice tests are the best part. The rest is okay, but the practice tests seemed pretty similar to the actual test. By using this book, I made a 33 composite on the ACT.

If you would like some pointers or interesting ways to remember hints, try The ACT For Dummies in addition to this book, but not alone!

The Fiske Guide presents thorough information on a remarkable number of schools. In addition to basic enrollment statistics, this book provides up-to-date contact information for admissions departments, enrollment deadlines, a list of the school's strongest programs/departments, a list of similar ("overlap") schools for each college or university, and an in-depth discussion of academic and social life at each school. Well-researched and accurate. I am an academic counselor, and I refer to this book *constantly*. It is far superior to other college guides I have read. A must-have for anyone embarking on the college search process.

This 2009 SAT book that i bought about a month ago, has been exteremely helpful! I'm a freshman high school, but wanted a head start on studying for the SAT, thus my parents purchased this latest edition SAT book. I honestly thought it would be boring, but the makers of the book make it very fun! They explain everything with easy step-by-step instructions without the use of big words, and they have coordinating pictures. The pages are perfect for you to write on them. Overall, you won't find this latest SAT book that is out for this low of a price. I wuold suggest buying ASAP because it's going to really give you a big start on your future.

During my college biology class in High School, I would always do well in the labs but would do poorly in quizzes and tests. I received the book in the mail a day before my test. I read the chapter we were studying on the way to school and I easily passed the test.

This book was awesome. I used Princeton Review to study for 2 out of my 6 AP classes. I had this US History book and the AP Psychology book. The two exams I used Princeton Review to study for, I got 5s! In the other 4 subjects I got 4s. This book is the exact tool you need to push yourself from a 4 to a 5! It's great!

This is definitely my type of book. I am a fairly good test taker so this book dives right into the deep end instead of wasting time telling you no-brainers.

The Official Study Guide for all SAT Subject Tests isn't a study guide at all, as is the case with most if not all of College Board's study guide publications. This book includes only one previously administered test per subject area, which isn't adequate enough to determine the knowledge you have mastered in the subject. The exams themselves must be at least several years old, and the conversion charts reflect the performance of past years; test writers change over time as well as student competitiveness. The part that probably ticks people off the most is that NO answer explanation is included. i wouldn't have thought this book would do me such good. It explained everything in details and gave extremely helpful tips for taking the SAT. i just took it today and it seemed very easy from the learning process of this book. Very thorough in explaining. It is definitely a must have if you're about to take the SAT.
