The problem with this book is not the happy ending as so many have said. The problem is that the ending is very unbelievable, in part because it is so happy. There is no way that the events in question with the Volturi would have led to a fight. To me the even thought they pulled out of the fight, the rest of the vampires should have stood up for their belief. Meyer could have killed off the Volturi easily and taken out a few of the vampires not involved with the Cullens to help make a more believable ending. But she didn't.

This book is absolutely amazing. It captivates you and takes you to a world where fantasy meets reality. The characters are complex. The passion between Bella and Edward is so absorbing that you can't put it down! It is definitely my favorite book (although New Moon is also my favorite). This book is for anyone who loves a good, juicy romance with a twist.

This book is incredible.
Beats every other book in the series by far.
Adds a lot to the romance between Artemis and Holly
while maintaining and action theme. Amazing twist
in the middle of the novel that makes you think
Anthony Horowitz is a genius.

I've read all of the Harry Potter books aloud to my son (who is now 10), and, while we're not yet far into Deathly Hallows, we can see that it will be as fun as all the others. We became engrossed in it from Page One. We're excited to see how the series ends, but we'll miss reading it. It's not only been a good read, but a great experience for us to have together. He could certainly be reading it alone at this point, but we wouldn't miss the shared enjoyment.

As a teacher of learning disabled students...I can say that all of my pupils loved this book. Some of the ideas might need a bit of explaining, but it is a story that kids can really get into.

This book is definitely an easy read. It's cheap, easy entertainment. That's not to say I didn't like it. I loved the theme of tolerance in the book and accepting others the way they are. I thought some of the racy scenes and cursing was a bit much for a YA novel, but to each his own. If you're looking for a teenage vampire novel with a little romance and self-indulgence, then look no further, the House of Night series is for you.

I love James Patterson. I loved his Maximum Ride books, even though they were aimed at the teen age market. Daniel X I didn't love so much. It read more like a comic book. I'm sure my grandsons will like it, but I won't buy future books in this series.
