.Fodor's In Focus Los Cabos, 1st Edition (In Focus) City Travel Guides > Books > Pocket Series by: Fodor's December 04, 2007 While the pocket guide isn't bad, it could be so much better. The worst part? The individual towns are not grouped together. Instead, the guide is broken up into Lodging, Meals, Entertainment with subsections for each town. I constantly found myself looking in the wrong area of the book. The next edition would be better served by having the different towns first, then the Lodging subsections etc. Also, the maps are just plain awful! Theres no train to Fushimi Inari but to Inari station. Theres no maiko show at the International Hotel "every night", it is only Fridays and Saturdays. Theres no mention of Ryozen Kwan On monument. Plus, I had to wait forever for the book to arrive on my mail. Against what the book says, people do their best to speak in english. .Fodor's Pocket Los Cabos, 3rd Edition (Pocket Guides) City Travel Guides > Books > Pocket Series by: Fodor's September 07, 2004 I ordered this book because it was about the only book specifically devoted to Cabo. I was very disappointed. I carried the book to Cabo and back but didn't really use it. If you strip away the generic "travel" information and the history information, this book contains little that is useful. The restaurant reviews are good, but not all restaurants are covered. The reviewers below had more valuable suggestions than this book, such as -- don't rely on credit cards, bring cash, small bills. The book is woefully out of date. The top 25 sites section was particularly useful in determining what to see during our stay. Each of the 25 sites noted in the guide included a train/bus number reference and that was most helpful. Many travel guides do not include such info.
