.Fodor's Around Paris with Kids, 3rd Edition: 68 Great Things to Do Together (Around the City with Kids) City Travel Guides > Books > Around the City with Kids Series by: Fodor's April 01, 2008 We bought this book for friends who are living now in Paris (and we are French and we know Parish quit well) They have got 3 children and they are thrilled with this book. It gives them plenty ideas to do with the kids. Very easy and good explenation (and it doens't stop with the main attraction!) This book was just too limiting. When I originally purchased this, I thought it might have been more "kid-friendly," but none of my three children were interested at looking through it. It is really meant more for adults to see what's available in Boston and families. Another disappointment was that there were no maps nor any rhyme or reason as to how they listed the 68 "great things to do together." .Fodor's Around Chicago with Kids, 2nd Edition: 68 Great Things to Do Together (Around the City with Kids) City Travel Guides > Books > Around the City with Kids Series by: Fodor's February 05, 2002 I was first surprised that this is a postcard-sized book, but the information packed into it is great. Each page spread lists a different site that is kid-friendly. The top of the page has a quick reference: hours, admission, recommended ages, contact information. Then there's a quick synopsis of the site, along with some "Keep in Mind" info, "Eats for Kids," and "Hey, Kids!" that provide some important details. I especially like that it give some little hints, such as where to park, arrive early, the layout is set up well for families, etc. And because it's small, it would be easy to tuck into a diaper bag or backpack for an outing. .Fodor's Around London with Kids, 2nd Edition (Around the City with Kids) City Travel Guides > Books > Around the City with Kids Series by: Fodor's May 04, 2004 I really loved this book for ideas on places to take your kids in London and the information provided for each site was outstanding. For example #41: Legoland, lets you know exactly how to get there whether you take a train or bus and helpful tips on how to get the most of of the experience. This book relates much more details and relevant info than the "For Kids" sections of regular travel books. Those travel books are still a "must have" but this book makes a good companion to cover all your bases. The only problem I had with this book was that most of the pricing info and some operational hours were not up-to-date and incorrect. .Fodor's Around Rome with Kids, 1st Edition: 68 Great Things to Do Together (Around the City with Kids) City Travel Guides > Books > Around the City with Kids Series by: Fodor's April 02, 2002 We used this guide during our trip to Rome this summer with our 14/11/9/and 7 year olds. There are some inaccuracies with opening and closing times of a few churches and museums that needs updating. A map highlighting the attractions is missing, and would be very desirable. The book did highlight a few interesting facts that were missing in the traditional guides.
