This is the 3rd and last installment of the Whitfield Brides series and it is of the chain as the the first 2 books were! All 3 books in this series were great and I hated to see it end because I would love to read about more about these 3 beautiful women, their husbands and the birth of their children. Great series Rochelle!

I was disappointed in this book. Brenda Jackson is one of my favorite authors, but this was not her best work. It had the feel of an amateur and not her usual polished style. I have not read the other two in the series, but if they are like this one, I think I will pass.

A continuation of A Sin and A Shame. Jasmine Larson may have finally met her match when Natasia comes into the picture. This was the best book I've read so far this year. Victoria has once again given her readers the finest in Christian fiction.

Now, I loved this book, this is the second book by Ms.Ervin I have read (I need to get Mina's Joint)and I am amazed and very appreciative at the authors growth and how she's come into a style of her own, I could see it in Hold U Down but she was still trying to find her way and I saw to many other authors in that one too. And once again, the designer name droppin and talking about how much something cost and every detail in peoples clothes and all that stuff could be lessened. But this book is all MISS ERVIN! And she did a great, great job! This book took me back a little I can really understand Mo's pain, the up's and the down's, the in's and the out's. Eric Jerome Dickey is a phenomenally successful author, especially popular I gather with African American readers. He has 12 other books to his credit. I decided to see what all the fuss was about.
Now I know: It's SEX and lots of it, extremely explicit with many anatomic and gynecological details.
If the difference between erotica and porn lies in the literary quality of the work, this book definitely falls into the category of straight porn.
I won't bother to describe the plot -- it's laughable -- or the characters -- they're non-existent. But the worst aspect of this terrible affront to literature is the writing which is plain awful. Here's a sample, picked more or less at random:

This story book was something else ! I like the way the author wrote the chapters ( having each character sort of speak individually in each chapter ). I will say that I reccommend because although it has some "semi-hot" moments in the book, it is not an erotic book. It is a book full of drama. It will give you some jaw-dropping moments of twists and turns that you might not have expected with each character. All in all - READ THE BOOK - Please. You will not be disappointed. Thumbs up to Carl Weber's talent and creativity.
