.NYC Access City Travel Guides > Books > Access Guides by: Richard Saul Wurman 1993-05 I have used this series of books for a few different cities and it is my favorite travel book. It is well organized, easy to read, gives great walking tours and information on every section of the city. .Access New York City City Travel Guides > Books > Access Guides by: Access Press, Richard S. Wurma 1994-05 I briefly saw the review under mine, and I agree. This book isn't the best guide book I have bought - and I wouldn't reccomend it to others. Sure, it has some ok reviews of places to eat and shops, but not a lot else. The layout isn't that appealing or friendly to use and I HAVE seen better. Usually I buy "Lonely Planet" (I dont know why I didnt this time! ) so if going to New York city, I dont think you should buy this book. "Lonely Planet" guides are a lot easier to read and include EVERYTHING you need to know. Anyways, this is just my opinion, I'm a traveller and I wanted a good travel book and this didn't provide. >>See More Reviews & Details on Access New York City |

This book isn't the best guide book I have bought - and I wouldn't reccomend it to others. Sure, it has some ok reviews of places to eat and shops, but not a lot else. The layout isn't that appealing or friendly to use and I HAVE seen better. The color coded enteries are broken down into categories such as; Restaurants, Retailers, Points of interest, etc, etc. for easy use. There is loads of information for every type of tourist from the weekend getaway, the business traveller to the family vacation. We purchased the guide when we first moved to New York and used it to really experience all that NYC has to offer. It has been spot on in virtually every aspect. The best part is that you can use it for any price point. Now that we have moved away, we still use it on our many visits. It's small enough to take anywhere and full of great information ...
