Came with detailed maps, turn-by-turn directions for both eastbound and westbound driving, and points of interest. Guide has a spiral binding and just the right size for use on a road trip.

This guide made for a great, unforgettable, 3 week road trip during May/June 2008.

Has everything including the 'off-road' trails in the mountains. Did you know there are off-road trails in Orange County? I didn't know until I got this atlas.

The map is convenient to use, and the lamination keeps it from getting destroyed from use. But it is relatively expensive considering you can get the same map in your tourist guide or for free from any one of a number of places once you get to Prague.

I got this for my son-in-law who is a Tolken fan. I ordered this from Amazon, but it was damaged. They did replace it. Thanks to them my son-in-law's Christmas was saved and he really likes it. Kudos to Amazon.com.

I was looking to replace my Rand McNally International Atlas which is 40 years old. The old atlas has 278 pages of detailed maps of the world. This atlas has only general maps that aren't really of much use. I'd love to replace my old atlas if I can find a new one with detailed maps.

Generally speaking Streetwise products are amongst my top recommendations for the tourist or newcomer to a city. Like others, this one provides good details about the location of key landmarks, is easy to read, and holds up under exposure to the elements.

However, for reasons unknown, the orientation of the map is off by 90 degrees, putting the lake (which is on the east) in what would typically be the "north" side of the map. For someone who has a natural feel for where "north" is at any time, and has been using normal maps for multiple decades, this makes orienting oneself unnecessarily difficult. If you need to locate a remote village or river anywhere in Alaska this will do it. Great detail, clear and well organized to find places quickly. To big for travel but great for the office.

I have several of these maps. They are great, laminated. I like them because you can use a laundry crayon to write on them, easily wiping clean when done. However this map is a few inches smaller than what you buy in a Borders or Barnes and Noble bookstore. It is difficult to read. Manageable but difficult. Buy it elsewhere.
